Obviously this one was high in a tree. I caught a glimpse of his tail, and then kept following him when he was flying!
This bird was singing around a bunch of trees, and I didn't see him until I had just about given up!
Another male (I got lucky!). He was perched really high in a tree. Such a gorgeous bird.

Another one of my night walks. I was walking through the woods, and I heard one off in the distance. I quickly walked over to it, and it stayed perfectly still for me to admire! One beautiful specimen!
These were verbal sightings. I did catch a glimps at one of them though! :)
Flew overhead while I was flying a Harris Hawk. Beautiful bird, and amazing aerobatics!
Circling over the bird sanctuary looking for food....Kinda creepy to see so many of them circling over your head....
One of the largest flocks I've ever seen! I had to do the "birders estimate" on them, because there were to many to sit and count!

Yes, I know this is a Sharpie. It was flying right over me, and at first I thought It was a Blue jay, but then figured out it was hawk. Sharpies were the ones I thought of.

9 of them flying around my house. They'd go WAY up, and then circle around and come back down. Gorgeous birds!!

At first I thought it was a Dark-eyed Junco, but then I looked more closely.

They came and landed on my feeders, then they flew off into a tree. I'd post the pictures of them, if it didn't take so long.
I see everything at that little pond.
The female landed on my feeder first, then when she flew away, the male did a "touch and go" following her.
Possibly breeding pairs. If not, then I just have a ton of individuals visiting my feeders.
He was wading in the pond, then he got up and took off right in front of me.

In a tree above a pond
Quite possibly a breeding pair. I happened to glance over, and saw the female on top of my bird feeder, then I saw the male in my Trumpet Vine.
Flying everywhere. A very nice looking bird. I'd love to upload more pictures of these birds, but it takes FOREVER to load into Geobirds.

I didn't see a female this time. The two males were running around under the bushes.

Alright, I know that this is a Sharpie! At first I mistook it for a Blue Jay, but as I got closer, I realized that it was a Sharpie.
Two males and a female. The two males were wrestling, while the female was hopping along the underbrush.

There was an old barn that I've seen for years, but just decided to go into. I looked up, and in the rafters, there was a BEAUTIFUL Barn Owl!!!!

Everywhere at this pond. They actually helped me see that there were 8 cottonmouths sunbathing right next to me.

This little fellow was perched happily in a tree, until I approached him, oblivious to the fact that he was there. He did his little whistle, and I about got whiplash turning to look at him.
