-cool sighting! When JB and I are monitoring the Central and North Central Roost locations, we are on country roads, paths, campsites, shorelines and lakes; I suspect that TV's in your area are more likely to be found in closer proximity to urban centers, because of the Great Lakes; it is here that significant urban development is actually right alongside the natural environment that these huge lakes provide; it also would be interesting to see what kind of thermals are created above cities in your area and to what extent TV's use them, to gain altitude prior to their daily departure in the search for food; then again, perhaps the tops of downtown buildings are not a bad place to look for dead pigeons! HA!
