| Notes | This is a close relative to the Ringed Plover (charadrius hiaticula) but is called a New Zealand Banded Dotterel (charadrius bicinctus bicinctus) it was seen at Miranda Springs and seems to be a very approachable bird, and I believe it to be on the endangered list. | |
