Notes These are the first geese I have observed on Beaumaris this year but they were heard earlier in the week.

Hi JB where have you been? Yes the geese will soon all be here, I also heard them earlier this week, and yesterday I heard a bird fly over the house here in the westend that I never heard that call before. I ran around the trees in the yard but he was gone and I didn;t catch sight of it,

-checked the Cherry Grove man-made lake yesterday around 4:20 PM and there was not a bird!

Truth to tell Tony, I have been hibernating some and, like the birds, went south, but only for a wee while. Other sites are indicating participants to the south are seeing numbers of returning birds. It should not be too long until we can watch that parade. I'm ready.
