Notes not a connecticut but close. In New Zealand it is called a Waxeye or Silvereye, a very common bird and fairly easy to approach but is a very busy bird.

Wonderful shots of a beautiful species! Some of your other shots show this bird's environmental importance in controlling what looks like a larval "leaf curler", similar to the leaf curl that we get in our Green Ash trees.
