About These two parks border the Saskatchewan River Valley and are easily accessible by vehicle and on foot. There are both paved and gravel paths, so very user friendly. There are many urban species, water birds on the river, and forest-dwelling birds in the trees.

This has to be my favourite spot in southeast Edmonton for easy-access birding, especially in the fall when the trees have changed colour and fall migrants are moving through.
