Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory

About "Dedicated to bird conservation through research and education" The LSLBO, located in Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park, has been in operation since 1994 and since that time has banded over 47 000 birds and has observed 243 different species. We currently operate out of the beautiful, new Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation, an eco-friendly building with 6000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits, office and lab space and a gift shop. We currently have both adult and junior bird clubs that meet up for local birding expeditions. To join or for more information, please contact us.
